1. The first step: Right click on an empty area on the desktop then select New => Shortcut.

2. Second step: In the location field, enter the following command.

shutdown.exe -r -t 00

After that click the Next button.

3. The third step: name the shortcut with the name Restart.

After that click the Finish button.

4. Fourth step: Try running the restart shortcut that was created.

The trick is to move the shortcut to the taskbar. Thus the command from the shortcut will run with one click.

  2. Select Pin to taskbar.
