The problem that most often occurs on Windows PCs and laptops is a device that doesn't work because the driver isn't installed.

A driver is a program that functions to connect the operating system with hardware, this program is what drives the device so that it can perform its function. Without drivers, your hardware will not be usable.

How to check drivers that are not installed on Windows 10

1. Open the Device Manager

First open the Device Manager on your computer by right clicking on the Windows key => selecting Device Manager.

Device Manager is a program in Windows that functions to manage all existing drivers.

From here you can find out which drivers have been installed and which are not. You can also see which drivers are having problems and fix them immediately.

2. Find the driver that is not installed

In the Device Manager, you will see a list of devices and drivers on your computer.

Find a device that doesn't have the driver installed, the way to find out is from the yellow exclamation mark icon. On devices that still don't have a driver, you will see an exclamation mark icon.

An example is like the image below:

3. Copy the hardware ids

After finding which device the driver is not installed, the next step is that we have to find and install a suitable driver for that device.

The trick is to search for the driver based on the device id, with this method we will get the appropriate driver.

First, we first copy the device id where the driver is to be installed.

In Device Manger, right click on a device that does not have a driver installed => select Properties.

Then click on the Details tab => in the Property section change to Hardware ids => right click on the first line of code => Copy.

4. Download the appropriate driver

Next, we will look for a suitable driver using the hardware id that was copied earlier.

Open your browser, then go to the site https://drp . su/en/catalog.

Paste the hardware id in the search field, then hit enter. Wait for the results to appear.

You will see several driver versions available, choose the one for Windows 10 and adjust the architecture, whether 32-bit or 64-bit according to the Windows installed on your computer.

Download the appropriate driver and wait for the process to complete.

5. Install the driver to computer

After the driver has finished downloading, double-click it to start the install process. Continue the steps like installing a normal program. Restart the computer if necessary.

Done, we have succeeded in finding the drivers that are not installed in Windows 10 and installing the appropriate drivers. Repeat the steps above to find other drivers that have not been installed and then look for the right driver until all the drivers are installed perfectly.

When there is a problem on a computer that cannot be solved, such as a corrupt file system, applications that cannot be opened, even a blue screen, then reinstalling is a practical solution that people usually do.

But sometimes this can also be quite a hassle because after reinstalling you have to make sure that all the drivers are installed so that the computer can run normally as before.

The problem is when you don't know which drivers are installed and which are not, for that you can follow the following steps that we have explained above to find out which drivers are not installed on Windows 10.
